Q. How can I order transcripts?

A. Contact us via our email address on our Contact page. Please provide a link to the file you wish us to download and transcribe, or provide the file in an attached email if size permits. You will be notified when your order is received.


Q. What payment options are available?

A. Check or Money order are the only available payment methods to date. As we are a new business, we are still updating many commonplace features. We will be adding Paypal and Credit Card options ASAP.


Q. Can you bill me via invoice to be paid later?

A. Yes, we can. Please contact us via email to set up a billing account.


Q. Are the Speakers Tracked During Transcription?

 A. Yes. We mark each speaker with their names (if provided) or as "Mr." "Ms." or "Miss" if only surnames are provided. If no names are provided we simply identify each speaker as "Male Speaker" or "Female Speaker." Multiple speakers of the same gender with no names provided will be marked with a number, such as "Female Speaker 1" or "Male Speaker 2." 


Q. How accurate are the transcripts?

A. We at Above and Beyond Transcription Services strive to provide at least 98% accuracy. Accuracy may be lower for especially difficult files. (Excessive background noise, multiple speakers talking at once, etc.)


Q. How are Transcripts Prepared?

A. Transcripts are prepared manually by our staff of freelance transcriptionists.


Q. Can you assure confidentiality?

A. Absolutely. Only the member of our staff handling your order and the client being served will have access to the audio or video files for any particular job. None of your information will be voluntarily given out to the public in any way, shape or form.


Q. Can you sign my specific confidentiality agreement?

A. Yes. Simply include the document with your order and it will be signed by the staff member handling your particular order.


Q. What are your business hours?

A. Our staff works 24/7 to ensure completion of their work. Phone support is available Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM PST to 5:00 PM PST. IM and Email support are available 7 days a week from 9-5 as well.


Q. What if I'm unsatisfied with a transcript?

A. If you are unsatisfied with the quality of your work, Above and Beyond will gladly review and correct it at no extra cost to you. Quality is important to us, and we want to ensure the best for our customers.
